Gratitude & Goals - J. Tyrone Marcus

Thank you all very much!

My task this week is a simple, yet profound one. I wish to express my deepest gratitude to all of you for your support of the weekly blogs on this my new website, but I especially want to thank so many of you who have already bought my new book Unbeatable! Seven Pillars of Personal Excellence.

For my readers who live in Trinidad and were able to personally attend last week’s book launch, thank you for making it so special and memorable. I appreciate the fact that some of you not only bought personal copies but also purchased some for family and friends as well. I am humbled and grateful.

As we all look forward to 2020, my encouragement is also simple: focus on no more than two major growth goals for the year. This worked well for me in 2019 when I had only two points of emphasis: writing my personal mission statement by my birthday on May 1 and pursuing financial peace. Notice that the second goal is ongoing, so that area will not stop getting attention year after year. The first goal was specific and had a deadline attached to it, so there was built-in accountability. Thankfully, I reached that goal on time.

This is my final blog for 2019 so, God willing, in the New Year I will share with you my priority for the year. Yes, I deliberately used “priority” in the singular, as it was originally intended to be used. Wish me luck as, somehow, I try to zero in on just one key thing for 2020!

Peace and love to you all.
